You know you’re having a bad day when all you wanted was a House Cricket snack, and you get stuck on the sticky paper that captured them!
at least he got to eat!
That’s not where the story ends.. since Tara seemed extremely afraid of a small creature STUCK to a “Catchmaster” rodent control system (tacky paper), she didn’t want to see/be anywhere near it/me joking about it. 
boo hoo hoo. So, I did what anyone else would do.. I put him outside (where I’ve stacked all my sheetrock that’s to be disposed of) and told Tara that I would deal with it later, after she left.
As fate would have it…. the little feller was gone, paper and all.. less than 45 minutes later!!! Hahahaha!! When i put him out there, I even made a comment to Tara that an owl would make quick work of him since he couldn’t go anywhere.. all I know is that there is probably one happy/unhappy owl out there.. happy for the free meal, pissed that he has to lose a number of feathers for that meal!!!

I FINALLY recieved my pocketmail device the other day and was excited to get it up and running so that I could get all the info I needed entered into it asap. To my dismay, this is what I was sent.
What is that line on the bottom????? ARGH! No luck for me. Looks like I am going to have to send it back to Pocketmail before I can use it. Wonderful.
PS Those are actually missing or burned out crystals in the screen, a completely defective display.

I finally started tearing up my house… finally. I really wished I had started this process a year ago. I really wish I had.. it would have made my life much easier than it is now.. rushing around trying to get everything done before I leave for the trail. What sucks more (but doesn’t surprise me) is finding out that there is missing insulation in the walls, in conjuntion with holes in the the wood behind the siding. Joy. I really hate contractors, they do a sub-par job. I know that there are a lot of really good contractors and workers, but why must we deal with those that don’t care in the first place.. very frustrating. grr.

Yeaaaa, my Home Depot delivery was made today… guess this means I have to wreck my house now.. More work for me and not much time to do it. Yikes. Thankfully I have a friend that is going to come over to help. Excellent…
finished up ripping down that god awful wood paneling from the 70′s. Thankfully I quickly mastered how to remove this flimsy crap without having to break too much of it. Now, as soon as Johnny gets here, it’ll be a cinch to put up drywall… oh yeah, AFTER I put up missing insulation. Now I have to find a nice mantle to put up, since the last one…well..didn’t exist.
