I wonder what kind of luck you have when you catch this “Silly Goose.”

BAR HARBOR, Maine — A rare two-toned lobster is seen in Bar Harbor, Maine. The lobster caught by Alan Robinson in Dyer’s Bay is a typical mottled green on one side; the other side is a shade of orange that looks cooked. Robinson, of Steuben, donated the lobster to the Mount Desert Oceanarium. Staff members say the odds or finding a half-and-half lobster are 1 in 50 million to 100 million. he’d use this as his platform to prove he was right..

CORDELIA, Calif. — This photo provided by the International Bird Rescue Research Center shows an X-ray taken of an injured duck with a broken wing. The International Bird Rescue Research Center in Cordelia. Calif., plans to raise funds with the unusual duck X-ray, which they say shows the clear image of what appears to be the face, or head, of an extraterrestrial alien in the bird’s stomach. The center has come up with a way to turn its supposed alien encounter into a fundraiser for the center. It will auction off the X-ray on eBay. The image, which measures 17-by-14 inches, will be sold along with a certificate of authenticity. All proceeds will go toward funding the center’s rehabilitation programs. (06/05/06 AP photo)

Okay Xzibit, think you went a bit too far (and over budget) with this ‘pimped out’ plane?

MEXICO CITY — A Varig airlines cargo plane from Brazil sits parked at the Mexico City airport with its nose up in the air after the cargo was unevenly distributed. Brazil’s troubled flagship airline, Varig, is reeling under an estimated US$3.3 billion (euro2.7 billion) in debt and is currently in the restructuring phase of bankruptcy proceedings and, last April 12, some 300 Varig employees boarded a chartered jet to Brasilia, the nation’s capital, to call on the federal government to bail out the company, which employs 11,000 people.
